    At Evergreen Behavioral Health & Wellness, we provide psychiatric evaluations; medication management; adjunctive psychotherapy; gender-affirming mental healthcare (including WPATH-approved gender-affirming surgery letters). Care is personalized and collaborative, with a focus on helping you feel more like yourself again.

  • While this is not an exhaustive list, we commonly work with anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder), mood disorders (depression, treatment-resistant depression, bipolar I and bipolar II), complex post-traumatic stress disorder/PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), insomnia, and much more!

  • At this time, appointments are conducted virtually for patients located in North Carolina. Plans for in-person services in the Raleigh area are being explored.

  • Yes. We offer flexible scheduling options, including evening and weekend slots, to help accommodate work, school, and family commitments. If you would like an appointment outside of our posted business hours, please contact the office via phone or e-mail.

  • Appointment availability varies, but we strive to maintain next-day appointment availability.

  • Your first appointment will be a comfortable, conversational visit focused on understanding your concerns, reviewing your history, and developing a treatment plan together. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and discuss your goals for treatment.

  • Initial evaluations typically last between 60-90 minutes, while follow ups can last anywhere from 15-45 minutes. This is highly dependent on the treatment plan and your overall goals.

  • Yes. We accept most major commercial insurance plans, Medicare, and Medicaid. Self-pay options are available for patients who present to not use insurance or are out-of-network. For more information, please visit our Cost/Insurance page.
