Depression
When everyday life starts to feel heavier
Depression can make it difficult to find motivation, connect with others, or enjoy things that once felt meaningful to you. You may feel sad, emotionally numb, irritable, or exhausted, even when you are keeping up with your responsibilities.
At Evergreen Behavioral Health & Wellness, we take time to understand what you are experiencing and what feeling better would mean for you. We offer a supportive, collaborative space to explore your symptoms and develop a personalized treatment plan.
What can depression look like?
Symptoms may include:
Persistent sadness, emptiness, or hopelessness
Less interest or enjoyment in usual activities
Low energy or difficulty getting started on tasks
Changes in sleep or appetite
Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
Feelings of guilt or worthlessness
You do not need to experience every symptom to benefit from an evaluation.
A treatment plan built around you.
Your evaluation includes a conversation about your symptoms, health history, previous treatment, and current stressors. Together, we may consider medication, psychotherapy, practical changes to daily routines, and/or coordination with your existing therapist.
If previous treatment has not helped enough, we can review what you have tried and discuss appropriate next steps, including whether a referral for additional treatment options may be helpful.
